Sedona Trading Company

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

When I was looking around for unique spice combinations I found a place online called the Sedona Trading Company. They carry a line of eight spice mixtures under the brand Trail Gourmet.

The seasoning blends are Sedona, Southwest, Hatteras, Cabo, Asian, Italian, Great Lakes, and HabaJala. Each package contains 20 gel caps of spice. Why are they packaged this way? First of all it keeps the spices fresh and secondly it makes measuring in the field a no-brainer. The convenience factor is great.

The site also has a great little recipe book which you can find here…

Sedona Trading Company also ships to Canada.

Would you like to share your own backcountry creation with our readers? If so, please send your recipes to laurie@wildernesscooking.com and be sure to tell us a little about yourself and about your dish.

Here is the latest submission from reader, Karla Coreil, for Mom’s Carlsbad Dip. I’ve had the opportunity to try this recipe and it is delicious.
